Traces porcelain vessels

H: 18cm, D: 8.5 cm
Seeds were pressed into the outside of the pieces after they had been formed. The pieces were then kept very damp whilst the seeds germinated. The seeds have impacted the work significantly, leaving traces of where the roots and shoot had been before they burned out in the kiln and distorting the shape of the cylinders as they grew.
