DEGREES riveted plastic ring

Inspired by sci-fi films such as Dune and Star Wars, these found beach plastic and eco-silver-riveted statement rings have been showing in our Degrees exhibtion at Trebah Gardens near Falmouth.

They vary a lot depending on colour and shape of plastic found, but I can send you images of the ones available. Or, you can let me know what colours you like and I can send you a photo of possible combinations: or just ask for a nice surprise!

They're around 20-40mm long by 15-25mm wide, normally using 3 different colours of plastic, found on Cornish beaches or sent to me by the lovely Alison in Portknockie, Scotland.

The eco-silver ring shank is hammered and 2mm wide: let me know your ring size so that I can make it to fit you properly.

small is around l/m, medium is around n/o, large is around a size p/q, extra large is r/s or let me know your size and I can make it to fit you.

What is ecosilver?

Eco-silver is a green alternative to sterling silver. It is a little bit more expensive but has the same silver content as sterling, it's just made of 100% recycled and scrap silver products. Eco Silver can be both treated and worked with in the same way as silver, for the same quality results but more environmentally friendly. Produced from scrap jewellery, medical equipment, electronics and giftware, all the eco silver I use comes with a certificate of authenticity and is hallmarked if it is the required weight.
